Bengals and Reds

2023-2024 Bengals

I am excited for this NFL season. Joe Burrow season 4 as our QB and continuing his ascension as a top tier QB in the NFL with Mahomes and Allen. This can be the season Burrow gets MVP and a Super Bowl ring!!! This Bengals team might have lost a couple on defense in free agency but they have drafted well and picked up good free agents. On offense they are all back and some new additions to the offensive line which will help protect Joe B and also give Mixon better running lanes. I believe the 3 WRs will all get over 1,000 yards receiving and Mixon will get 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards along with 8 TDs this year. Burrow does have to rest his calf strain right now but I would rather it be now instead of during the season. It is going to be a fun season and I hope this year Bengals are Super Bowl bound again. When they make it back to the Super Bowl they are going to get the W as they have the experience as a core group and they will not let anything get in their way.

Reds Post All Star Break

With the emergence of De La Cruz the Reds are rolling!!! It is great to see what an inspiration one player can do to impact a team. Sounds familiar doesn’t it. Burrow for the Bengals and De La Cruz for the Reds making deep impact on the culture and bringing out the winning ways ! Reds currently stand at 59-49 in first place in the NL Central by 1.5 games. If they keep cruising along in August it will make September easier and the Reds can potentially be an automatic playoff spot and NL Central winner getting them to avoid the Wild Card Round. The Reds have the potential to make a deep run and possibly get into the World Series! That would be fun to see.
