NBA Finals Game 5 Tonight

Game 5 between the Nuggets and Heat is tonight. Nuggets have a 3-1 lead as in their 3 wins Heat come within striking distance but Nuggets pull away as Murray and Jokic are on fire.

There is a person on the Heat that has been in this scenario and he helped his team come back from 3-1 and win the championship. Kevin Love. He has been starting in the championship matchup. He has played solid and with his experience being in this situation could help the Heat pull off a W tonight to get the series to 3-2. Game 6 would then be back in Miami.

However, there has not been an answer to slow down Murray since the game 2 win Miami had. Jokic is going to get his numbers as he has been so consistent. Murray needs to be challenged on every possession and force the bench players to have to score. The Heat need Butler and Bam to play well and have the supporting cast to control the flow of the game. If the Heat do this they can force a game 6.

I originally thought Heat could win in 6 if they could pull out a W in Denver and then win their home games at the beginning of the series. They got the W in Denver but couldn’t capitalize at home. This will be a tough task but I think they can get the W tonight. To beat Denver 2 in a row to force a game 7 will be very hard because of how well they are playing.

The Heat will either prevail tonight or if things go how the last 2 games go the Nuggets will keep hitting big shots and increase their lead each quarter and have a chance to win their first ever NBA championship. What a way to possibly do it on their home floor.
