The Cincinnati Bengals made a statement against the Ravens at Ravens 2 weeks ago. They came in with a great game plan to put pressure on Jackson while the Bengals offense controlled the flow and won 41 – 17. All 3 phases of the game for the Bengals were A grade and because of that they gave the Ravens their worst home loss in many years.
This past Sunday the Bengals (5-2) traveled to New York to face the Jets (1-5). The Bengals knew this game could be a “trap” game after beating their AFC North rival. The Jets showed up and scored 34 points. The Bengals led by 10 with 6 moinutes left in the game but a costly turnover on offense with under 4 minutes remaining allowed the Jets to get a touchdown and go up by 3. The Bengals lost 34-31. Defense needed to play better and cause more punts in the second half and on offense they needed to take care of the ball better. If you are going to lose a game like this they are fortunate it is at the beginning of the season. This is a game you need to win and hopefully this young Bengals team can learn from it. I think they will.
This upcoming Sunday November 7 at 1:00 pm the Bengals (5-3) host the Browns (4-4) at Paul Brown Stadium. This is a huge game for both teams. I think the Bengals will bounce back and get the W to get their record to 6-3 going into their BYE week. The Ravens had their BYE week last Sunday so currently Ravens are 5-2 and will play at home against the Vikings. That will be a touch matchup as the Vikings are playing better now compared to at the beginning of the season. If the Browns lose they will drop to 4-5 and then have to travel the next week to play at New England where I think they will lose and then be 4-6.
It will be a good game this upcoming Sunday and I know the Bengals will come out strong and be voctorious!!! WHO DEY!!
